Photo of Dr. BlancoDr. Blanco earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Prior to that, he received his undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University, in Cedar City where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Blanco completed his internships at Pacific University College of Optometry, Indian Health Services in Fort Hall, ID, The Eye Institute of Utah, and Hoopes Vision. His internships have provided experience and expertise in primary care, contact lens, ocular disease, surgical co-management of cataract and LASIK patients, neuro-optometry, and low vision.

As co-owner of Rocky Mountain Optical, Dr. Blanco is passionate about his work and devoted to providing the best care for his patients, not only in his community but abroad. Twice he has been able to travel to Tanzania with groups committed to providing quality vision care to communities otherwise unable to access such care. This is a cause he will continue to pursue throughout his career.

Dr. Blanco enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and wishes he could go fishing every weekend.
